Access
From end of public road at Braedownie continue past speed restriction signs and within about 90m turn L into driveway that leads into club’s private car park. Unlock gates to driveway using code supplied. From car park follow marked footpath to hut
Accommodaion
Sleeping is on alpine platforms in 2 dorms (8 per dorm) Own sleeping bag and pillow is required. Space provided in both dorms for storing gear.
Facilities
A modern hut of wooden construction and exceptionally good insulation featuring a large open plan common room area with a wood burning stove, 2 cookers (8 rings), 2 fridges, 2 m/waves, 2 toasters, and an instant hot water boiler (requires to be primed before use). Pots and pans along with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are also provided. Within the common room area is ample space for eating, washing up and for sitting round the fire. Purpose built drying room with de-humidifier. Two bathrooms, one with a shower unit and suitable provision for mobility challenged users. Entry by the front door is into a large hallway with facilities for the removal of boots etc.
Charges
Charges are £15 per night per head. A deposit of £50, either by Bank transfer or cheque made out to the Carn Dearg M.C. is required to secure a booking. Access via keypad; code will be e-mailed in advance of visit

Camping is permitted, but please do not exceed 16 people in total - this is due to a limit on the drinking and waste water facilities
