From the North Face car park head south-eastward, briefly on a track and then onto a good path then follow way marked to CIC. Forestry Land Scotland has now introduced a charge for parking. See the FLS website for more information - https://forestryandland.gov.scot/visit/north-face
Accommodaion
26 alpine bunks with mattress (4 beds reserved for SMC in winter). Bookings for other clubs - maximum 8 per club in winter and 12 in summer; minimum 2. Alpine style sleeping platforms with mattresses.
Facilities
Full modern kitchen, with gas oven and hobs. Gas heating, and amazing drying room. Electric lighting from wind and solar power. Power outlets at all bunks for USB A or C. Composting toilets. Water accessible from standpipe outside. (Can freeze). Full details will be email about facilities and instruction before your trip.
Charges
Winter (December-April): £26 per person including vat. Summer (May to November): £22 per night includes vat. Booking accepted from members of Mountaineering Scotland, British Mountaineering Council, or of affiliated organisations. Other enquiries contact the custodian directly. All bookings are via the availability calendar (https://www.smc.org.uk/hut/cic) Tap on arrival and departure date, then press book now or clear selection. This will take you to a form to complete, name, address, post code and mobile number. Payment is required at time of booking, by either a bank or credit card. Confirmation of booking and payment will be sent. All bookings sold in multiplies of 2 persons booking. If you are a single user or odd number, please contact the hut custodian by email.
