From Newtonmore, Balgowan is just north of the A86 (Newtonmore/Spean Bridge road) at the W gate of Cluny Castle. Take the single track road (signposted Balgowan) on the R up to the car park (on R, about 300 m from the A86); space for 6 cars. Follow the access path on the L (facing in) of the car park up the hillside and round to the R to reach the hut in about 100m
Accommodation
10 places - 8 on an alpine-style sleeping platform and 2 on a bunk bed in an adjoining small room, all with mattresses and pillows. Note: For hygiene reasons, please bring/use your own pillow cases/coverings!
Facilities
Electric lighting/heating, wood burning stove, H & C running water, W.C.’s., showers, drying room, electric hob cooking, microwaves, small oven/grill cooking and ‘fridges with all cooking utensils/crockery supplied. Electricity: £1/£2 coin electricity meter.

£25 booking deposit; £14.00/person/night; children under 18 £7.00

Keysafe: The current access code will be made available to Hut users before their Hut use/stay.

1. The Hut is in a residential area, so please keep late night noise to a minimum. 2. No camping or dogs allowed in the vicinity of the Hut. 3.No phone calls after 9pm please.
